Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully before requesting a tour with Discover Ishigaki. By submitting a booking request or participating in one of our tours, you agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
Submitting our booking form does not automatically confirm your reservation. The booking form is the first step in contacting us so we can discuss your tour and gather any additional information we may require, such as your accommodation, cruise ship details (if applicable), participant information, or any special requirements.
Your booking is considered confirmed only after you receive an explicit confirmation from Discover Ishigaki by email or message.
Payment is due at the end of the tour unless otherwise agreed in advance.
We accept cash only for regular tour payments.
For groups of 4 or more guests, a deposit may be required to confirm the booking. If a deposit is required, we will send a secure online payment link with payment instructions.
Safety is always our highest priority.
All tours are subject to weather conditions, sea conditions, government warnings, minimum participant numbers, and other safety considerations.

Whenever possible, we will notify guests of significant changes before the scheduled departure.
If Discover Ishigaki cancels a tour due to weather or safety concerns, no cancellation fee will be charged and any deposit paid will be fully refunded.
The following cancellation fees apply:
One free reschedule is allowed if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour, subject to availability.
If the requested date is unavailable or the booking cannot be rescheduled, the cancellation policy above will apply.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of safely participating in the tour.
For our standard snorkeling and hiking tours:
Guests must inform us before the tour of any medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, pregnancy, or other physical or mental limitations that could affect their participation.
This information is requested solely to help us provide the safest possible experience and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Discover Ishigaki reserves the right to refuse or end a guest’s participation without refund if their behavior is dangerous, illegal, abusive, or places themselves, other guests, our staff, or wildlife at risk.
Guests are responsible for obtaining any passports, visas, cruise documentation, or other travel documents required for travel to Japan and participation in the tour.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical treatment, personal accidents, and lost or damaged belongings.
While we take reasonable care to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks.
To the fullest extent permitted under Japanese law, Discover Ishigaki shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience resulting from:
Nothing in these Booking Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable Japanese law.
For the safety of all participants, every guest is required to read and sign our Liability Release Form before joining the tour.
For guests under 18 years of age, the Liability Release Form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
If a guest declines to sign the Liability Release Form, Discover Ishigaki reserves the right to refuse participation in the tour.
Personal information collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect only the information necessary to communicate with you, process your booking, and safely operate the tour.
These Booking Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising from these Booking Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
